Handover of Research Grant Funds from the Directorate General of Higher Education to the Research Team of Lecturers at STIE Ganesha

Ciputat, July 16, 2025 — A total of 18 lecturer teams from STIE Ganesha have officially received research grant funding from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktiristek RI) for the year 2025. The total amount of funding awarded for research and community service programs reached IDR 671,015,000, consisting of IDR 625,210,000 for research activities and IDR 45,805,000 for community service.

The grant is allocated under three funding schemes: Regular Fundamental Research, Beginner Lecturer Research, and Beginner Community Service. The research themes proposed cover strategic issues such as the development of the creative economy, MSME empowerment, digitalization of services, medical waste management, and environmental conservation.

An orientation for the grant recipients was held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Room 18, 2nd Floor Auditorium, STIE Ganesha Campus, Ciputat. The event was attended by the board of the Graha Ganesha Education Foundation (YPGG), including Dr. H. Alimudin Almurtala as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Sahrudin Almurtala, S.H., M.H. as Chairman of the Executive Board, as well as the Chairman of STIE Ganesha, Dr. M. Arief Noor, M.Pd., M.M., and all grant recipient lecturers.

In his speech, Dr. H. Alimudin Almurtala referred to this achievement as a historic milestone for STIE Ganesha. “For the first time, our campus with only three study programs has succeeded in securing 18 national grants in one year. This is a sign of the state's trust that must be managed responsibly and professionally,” he stated. He also added that the foundation will reward research teams who meet their targets and produce high-quality publications with an Umrah pilgrimage award.

The Chairman of STIE Ganesha, Dr. M. Arief Noor, emphasized that this success is the result of the hard work and dedication of the lecturers. He also expressed appreciation for those who were not selected, acknowledging their enthusiasm and contributions. “We are still one team. For those who didn’t make it, we’ll encourage you to rise again next year,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of STIE Ganesha, Aep Saefullah, S.HI., M.M., reminded everyone that this grant is not personal property, but a mandate from the government. “All research and community service activities must follow the set timeline and procedures. LPPM is ready to provide assistance from start to final reporting,” he explained.

Aep added that this orientation marks the beginning of a series of research initiatives focused on people-based economics, technological innovation, and sustainable development. “From MSME empowerment to medical waste innovation—STIE Ganesha’s teams are ready to make real contributions to the nation,” he said with enthusiasm.

The research topics proposed by the lecturers span various regions, including Tanjung Pinang, West Pasaman, South Tangerang, Kulon Progo, Palu (Central Sulawesi), and Banten Province.
