Jakarta, 2 June 2025 — The Student Executive Board (BEM) of STIE Ganesha successfully held a Public Discussion in collaboration with the Islamic Student Association (HMI) Komisariat Legoso Raya, raising an important theme on the actualization of Pancasila values in social and national life. The event featured speakers from youth and activist circles, including representatives from the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) and HMI Badko Jabodetabeka, who shared critical and inspiring perspectives on the role of young people in realizing a just and civilized Pancasila.
The event was met with great enthusiasm and attended by students from various campuses and organizations, proving that the spirit of nationalism among youth remains strong.
Yasir Rumuar, the event’s coordinator, emphasized that this discussion was not merely a platform for discourse, but a call to embrace Pancasila values as a way of life and concrete action.
“Pancasila is not just something we recite during ceremonies or learn about in class. Its values must be reflected in our daily lives—through social justice, tolerance, and compassion. Through this forum, we aim to open our eyes and hearts to the fact that we have a responsibility to bring Pancasila into real spaces,” said Yasir.
This public discussion is expected to inspire students to stay actively engaged in social movements grounded in the noble values of Pancasila, while also reinforcing the role of campuses as centers of thought and catalysts for change.
